What is Callback Connect? It's the newest technology for mobile phones that enables us to reduce the cost of long distance calling. When you dial one of MobileMiser's callback numbers it will ring busy; this lets us know you want to make a long distance call. MobileMiser will call you back and then route your call directly to the person you want to speak with—it's that easy! How does MobileMiser's CallBack Connect work? MobileMiser has developed unique calling numbers (Personal Connect Numbers) that always ring busy; by doing this it's always a free call. MobileMiser calls you back and then connects you directly to the person you want to speak. What is a Personal Connect Number (PCN)? When you register with MobileMiser you will need to supply your mobile and long distance numbers for the people you want to call. For each person you will be given a Personal Connect Number. This is the number you dial to speak to that person. Why is the MobileMiser number "busy" when I call? When you call a number that is BUSY you are not charged for the call. The MobileMiser unique PCN numbers you call, will always be busy, because we do not want you to pay for the outbound call. Is MobileMiser more convenient than other alternatives? Yes. Calling cards are cumbersome and have a reputation of not being upfront with rates and minutes remaining. Other services require you to dial different access numbers depending on where you are, again very cumbersome. Will MobileMiser work with ALL mobile phones? YES! Does MobileMiser work with ALL carriers in the USA and Canada? Yes. Anyone in the USA and Canada can sign up to use MobileMiser. Will the MobileMiser number be busy which ever city in Canada or USA the call is placed from? Yes. Even though you have to dial 1 before the number there will NEVER be a charge for the outbound call. It will ALWAYS be busy and the callback is always a local incoming call. Will I pay roaming charges when I am traveling? Yes, roaming charges are determined by your mobile carrier. You should always check with them when you plan to be outside your local calling area. Will I pay long distance charges when I am traveling? Long distance charges for incoming calls are determined by your mobile carrier. You should always check with them when you plan to be outside your local calling area. Can MobileMiser save me money when I am traveling? Yes. MobileMiser will save you money on the long distance charges. For example if you travel to New York and use MobileMiser to call Italy you will pay your carrier for roaming & incoming call charges BUT pay MobileMiser only 4 cents/minute for the long distance call to Italy. Is it true it costs more to call people on their cell phones overseas? Yes. In most countries it is always more expensive to call someone on their cellphone. Make sure you check the rates. Many services do NOT make this clear. Beware. Can MobileMiser really save me a fortune on international calls? Yes. MobileMiser buys wholesale from the largest phone companies like MCI. By keeping our overheads low and not being greedy we can save our customers a lot of money. Is MobileMiser's call quality the same as the mobile companies? Yes. All carriers use similar networks to route calls; Mobilemiser uses MCI. Remember phone networks in certain parts of the world are not as good as the USA and Canada. There will be times you will have poorer connections. How does MobileMiser know to call me back? MobileMiser recognizes your caller ID, just like when you call someone and they know it is you. That's why it's important to unblock you Caller ID on your mobile service, when using MobileMiser. What if I miss MobileMiser's call back? If you have not received a callback within about 20 seconds it means you could not be reached. Perhaps the signal was poor or you were on the phone. Call MobileMiser again and you will be called back. Should I get an unlimited incoming call plan? Yes, because Mobilemiser turns every outgoing call into an incoming local call, so an unlimited incoming call plan is perfect for MobileMiser. Even without an unlimited an incoming call plan you will still save money on your long distance calls. What number do I see when MobileMiser calls back? Put MobileMiser's number (647-476-7070) in your cellphone address book and most of the time you will see it as MobileMiser calling, like anyone else that you have in your address book. What do I hear when MobileMiser calls back? When MobileMiser calls you back you will hear "MobileMiser—I am connecting your call. This may take a few seconds." You have to do nothing else. Just hold and you will be connected. What number will show up when I call my friends through MobileMiser? Your number. In some rare cases the cellphone service provider will show the MobileMiser number. Do I still pay my Cellular provider? Yes, you pay them for the incoming call. How much depends on the type of plan you have. For example if you have an unlimited incoming call plan all your incoming calls, when you are in your local area, are included. However, you WILL NOT pay them their exorbitant long distance charges! How do I pay MobileMiser? MobileMiser is a prepaid service. You deposit money into your account using a credit card online. The money is yours until you use it. You pay only for the minutes you talk. There are no connection fees or hidden charges. We accept   Will my cell phone company charge me with for receiving the incoming call from Mobilemiser? Not if you have an unlimited incoming call plan from your provider. If you do not have an unlimited incoming call plan your cell phone company will charge you their normal rates for receiving an incoming call from MobileMiser. Do I have to use up my minutes before the end of each month? NO. MobileMiser does not force you to use up your minutes and there is no time limit for using them. Your account will only reflect the amount you have remaining and the corresponding minutes can be carried over for as long as you wish. The money is yours until you use it. How do I find the rates for the country I am calling? All of our rates are located on our Rates pages. If you are calling a country not listed on our Rates page please email us at help@MobileMiser.com and we will notify you on the rate to the country you are trying to reach. Can I use MobileMiser when I am traveling? Yes. You can call MobileMiser's numbers from anywhere in the USA and Canada. MobileMiser saves you money on the charges for the long distance part of your call. Unfortunately, even MobileMiser can't eliminate roaming charges as determined by your carrier agreement.
